In every masjid across the globe, millions of Muslims bow in unison, reciting verses from the unchanged, unmatched Book of Allah, yet our Ummah continues to bleed. We believe in the same Qur’an, we follow the same Prophet ﷺ, and we act with sincerity—but something is missing!
We are told, "This is the Book in which there is no doubt, a guidance for the God-conscious,” and yet, the world’s most God-conscious people are the most persecuted.
From Gaza to Sudan, from Myanmar to Kashmir, the cries of the oppressed pierce the skies—while the world watches silently. Is our faith not sincere enough? Are our du’as not loud enough?
Don’t miss this extremely profound message from the Sheik on what’s missing and how we can implement it to save all of Ummah and humanity at large!

In the 30th Juz of the Qur'an, nearly 36 surahs were revealed in Mecca, at a time when the Prophet ﷺ was not just calling to Islam but confronting a corrupt society head-on.
These Meccan surahs weren’t just about individual worship—they were a bold challenge to societal ills.
Surahs like Al-Mutaffifin and Al-Fajr peel back the layers of injustice—showing how arrogance, materialism, and moral decay dominated Meccan society. And yet, these weren’t just historical criticisms—they were divine reminders of the Day of Accountability, when Jahannam is brought forth and every soul will cry out, “I wish I had done something for my life!”
Calling for Islam isn’t just about feel-good messages—it’s about diagnosing societal corruption and showing that Islam is the solution.
Let’s ask ourselves- When we face injustice, economic exploitation, or moral confusion, will be be the ones that speak up, just as our Prophet ﷺ did?

“He(swt) created death and life to test you.” In Surah al-Mulk, Allah doesn’t mention life first—He(swt) mentions death first. Why?
Life is the test, and death is when it ends—when we turn in the paper, and the grades come from the Almighty. In these last ten nights of Ramadan, this ayah reminds us that the goal is not who collected the most—money, cars, degrees, or applause—but who did the best deeds with sincerity and ikhlas.
The contrast in Surah al-Mulk is sobering: are you the one who crawls blindly, face down in confusion, chasing fleeting pleasures? Or are you the one who walks upright, guided by purpose and revelation, heading toward Allah with clarity? The Prophet ﷺ once responded to a man asking about the Day of Judgment by asking, “What have you prepared for it?” That’s the real question.

The piercing verses of Surat At-Taghabun, where Allah warns: “Indeed, among your spouses and your children are enemies to you—so beware of them.”
It’s a verse that shakes us—because the enemy isn’t always an outsider. Sometimes it’s the pressure from those closest to us—pressures that push us to compromise our deen, chase status over sincerity, and fall into disobedience in the name of love or comfort.

The hour is near, and the signs are clear—but are we truly awake? Allah split the moon as a miracle for Quraysh, yet they dismissed it as magic. Today, we too witness countless signs in our lives—blessings, warnings, and moments of hidayah—yet we delay our change. Surah Al-Qamar and the Prophet ﷺ’s vivid description of the Day of Judgment paint a chilling picture: mountains reduced to dust, the earth flattened, silence across creation, and every soul driven to accountability. On that day, arrogance will shatter, and nothing will remain but our deeds in the court of the Almighty.
What will come of this day for us?

Juz’u `Amma – Part 30 of the Qur'an
Recitation of Juz’u ‘Amma by Hafiz Shams & Asad
Juz’u ‘Amma is the most commonly recited and memorized portion of the Qur’ān. It contains thirty-seven sūrahs, all of which were revealed in Makkah with the exception of al-Bayyinah and an-Naṣr. Because these sūrahs were revealed during the earliest stages of the prophetic mission and were being recited primarily to an audience of unbelievers and skeptics, their objective is to awaken the unconscious and implant faith in the heart. Varying in length, all are relatively short sūrahs with essentially similar themes.
These early revelations came in powerful language consisting of short, concise but eloquent sentences; their literary style was so unique that it attracted a great deal of attention. Logical evidences supported the universal truths expressed within them. Their verses exposed the errors of the idolaters and criticized their blind adherence to a religion of unsanctioned customs. They convey basic principles of morality, ethics and righteous conduct taught by all prophets as an indispensable part of
Allah's (سبحانه وتعالى) religion. And they refute the misconception that man is self-sufficient, independent of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى)and unaccountable to Him.
As is generally the case with Makkan revelation, the emphasis in Juz’u ‘Amma is on essential beliefs – in particular, the issues of tawḥeed, the Prophethood of Muhammad (ﷺ) and the life after death. Al-Qiyāmah (the Resurrection) is described vividly in several of its sūrahs as a terrifying, overwhelming event. Ibn ‘Umar reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) had said, "Whoever would like to perceive the Day of Resurrection as if with his own eyes may recite Sūrahs at-Takweer, al-Infiṭār and al-Inshiqāq."53 Subject matter includes: the creative power of Allah(سبحانه وتعالى)as observed in the phenomena of nature on earth and in the heavens, the inevitable and complete manifestation of that power in the Hereafter, the Lord's mercy and countless favors to mankind, the arrogance and ingratitude shown by most of mankind, the consequences of belief and denial, threat against evildoers and promise of reward for the righteous.
There are also some brief references to earlier prophets and divine retribution upon those who opposed them. The unbelievers are admonished for their ignorance and immorality, their opposition to truth and their persecution of the believers.
Allah(سبحانه وتعالى) warns that every individual will be held fully accountable for his actions and intentions at the final account and judgment, and that each will find just recompense for his deeds, both good and evil, in an eternal life to come.

The Liberation of Mecca—a moment that reshaped history—took place during the sacred month of Ramadan, most commonly marked on the 20th day. After the Quraysh’s allies violated a ceasefire agreement, the Prophet ﷺ saw the moment had come. With 10,000 disciplined Muslims moving toward Mecca, fully armed yet under strict orders to avoid bloodshed, the Prophet ﷺ demonstrated unmatched strength tempered with mercy.
Today, as Gaza bleeds and Palestine remains under brutal occupation, this monumental event is not just history—it’s a roadmap.

In the blessed month of Ramadan, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ led a defining moment in Islamic history: the peaceful liberation of Mecca. Despite a force of 10,000 Muslims prepared for battle, the Prophet commanded restraint, emphasizing mercy over vengeance.
As we witness the ongoing oppression in Gaza and the occupation of Palestine, surrounded by capable yet inactive Muslim nations, the lesson from Mecca becomes urgent. The strength of unity, principled leadership, and the vision of Islamic civilization offer a path forward.
Just as Mecca embraced peace, so too can Palestine be liberated—not through chaos, but by reviving the Prophetic model of strength, mercy, and resolve.

In a time when the horrors from Gaza flood our screens and weigh heavily on our hearts, a timeless verse from the Qur’an offers a beacon of hope and perspective. Allah (swt) says:
وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً
And We intend to favor those who were held as weak in the land and to make them leaders. Surah Al-Qasas (28:5)
It reminds us of Allah’s divine promise—to elevate the oppressed, to grant them victory, and to establish them as rightful inheritors of the land. The very tyrants who seek to crush them will live to witness the rise of those they tried to bury.
This reflection powerfully connects the struggles of Bani Isra’il with the current oppression faced by the people of Gaza.

"I am as My servant expects Me to be." (Sahih Bukhari & Muslim)

Ramadan Reflection Day 18- The Blessed Status of Al Aqsa and Al Quds– Dr. Abdul Wahid
Why is Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa so important in Islam?
Allah states in Surah Al-Isra:
"Glory be to the One Who took His servant by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing." (Quran 17:1)
This verse alone establishes the sanctity, blessing, and immense importance of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and its surroundings in Bilad Al-Sham (Greater Syria, including Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria).
At a time where we are witnessing the oppression of the people of Al-Quds and Gaza, join Dr. Wahid as he details the great importance of The Blessed Status of Al Aqsa and Al Quds and asks Will we be among those who defend Al-Aqsa with our voices, actions, and prayers, or will we let history repeat itself?

Wednesday Mar 19, 2025
Wednesday Mar 19, 2025
Saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah is important, but true dhikr extends beyond words.
This constant remembrance is not just through words but through our hearts, actions, and consciousness. When we continuously remember Allah, we draw closer to His mercy, protection, and guidance.
Allah’s remembrance is not just for rewards—it is a path out of darkness and into the light of guidance, truth, and justice.
Are we truly living in the remembrance of Allah, or are we just reciting words without acting upon them?

Badr was not just the first battle in Islam—it was a defining moment in history.
Had the believers not been victorious, Islam may not have survived.
The Prophet ﷺ and his companions faced overwhelming odds: 319 believers against 1,000 Quraysh warriors. Yet, through faith, preparation, and Allah’s help, they emerged victorious.
Are we following the lessons of Badr today?
Or are we allowing fear and hesitation to prevent us from standing for the truth?

Taraweeh Teachings Day 17- Fear or Faith
Tuesday Mar 18, 2025
Tuesday Mar 18, 2025
When confronted with truth, do we submit—or do we make excuses?
The Quraysh of Mecca, like many today, believed in Allah—but only in name.
When the Prophet ﷺ called them to implement Allah’s guidance in every aspect of life, they responded with fear:
"If we follow the guidance with you, we will be swept away from our land." (Surah Al-Qasas: 57)
Fear of losing their status, wealth, and security held them back from submitting to the very Lord who sustained them, protected them, and provided for them. They failed to realize that the peace of Mecca, its prosperity, and its trade were not from their intelligence or strength, but from Allah alone.
This fear did not die with them. Today, when Islam calls for true implementation, the same argument is made.

What if your guidance was not your achievement, but a test of your humility?
Too often, we look at the faults of others and feel superior. We compare our prayers, our actions, and our piety to theirs, as if we have earned our place through our deeds alone.
But the truth is stark—our righteousness is not ours. It is a mercy from Allah.

What if your parents could be your key to Jannah—or the reason for your humiliation?
We live in a time where independence is glorified, and the moment a child turns 18, the bond between parents and children begins to weaken.
Society teaches us that our obligations end when we become adults. Islam teaches the opposite.
How many times have we sighed in annoyance at our parents? Rolled our eyes? Ignored their calls? What if those moments were recorded as lost chances for Jannah?
We all have moments of neglect. But Alhamdulillah we still have an opportunity!
Will we take advantage of the blessing of our parents while we still have them, or will we live to regret it?

“How are you?”
Is it just “I’m Cool”, “I’m fine,” or “I’m managing”—or do you say, “Alhamdulillah” with conviction?
This simple phrase, Alhamdulillah, is more than just words. It’s a declaration of faith, resilience, and submission to Allah’s divine plan. It’s an acknowledgment that everything—good or bad—comes from Him, and in it, there is goodness, even when we don’t see it.
Saying Alhamdulillah is not just a habit—it is a way of life, a shield against despair, and a pathway to ultimate success.

The Real Test of Our Faith Standing Against Oppression
Saturday Mar 15, 2025
Saturday Mar 15, 2025
How have we come to a time where injustice is normalized, oppression is excused, and truth is silenced?
This sharp contrast has shaken us again this week when a Palestinian activist, Mahmoud Khalil, is detained without charge, torn from his family, his rights stripped away for speaking out against oppression. On the other, criminals convicted of drug offenses are freed without question, because their release was requested by the powerful.
A system. A world built on hypocrisy, where power dictates justice, and oppression is rewarded. And where do we, as Muslims, stand? Are we among those who watch in silence, or are we fulfilling our divine duty to uphold justice?

Ramadan Reflection Day 11- Stand Firm Against Mockery– Dr. Abdul Wahid
Mockery, humiliation, rejection—these were the brutal challenges the Prophet ﷺ faced in the early years of his mission. Yet, in the face of such torment, Allah revealed a powerful command: Proclaim the truth and turn away from those who mock you.
Surah Al-Hijr reminds us that every messenger sent to guide humanity was met with ridicule—from Nuh (AS) to Musa (AS) to Isa (AS). Their people mocked them, belittled them, and resisted the divine message. But in every case, Allah’s promise held true—those who opposed the truth were ultimately defeated.
This message is for us today. As we see Islam mocked and attacked in our time, as we face opposition for upholding the truth, do we hesitate?
Do we soften our stance?
Or do we stand as the Prophet ﷺ did—fearless, unwavering, relying on Allah alone?

Ramadan Reflection Day 10- A Warning We Cannot Ignore– Dr. Abdul Wahid
In Islam, how much does it take to be counted among the wrongdoers?
Standing beside them?
Aiding them?
What if merely inclining towards them is enough to bring the wrath of Allah?
In Surah Hud, Allah warns:
"Do not incline towards those who do wrong, lest the Fire touch you. And you will have no protector besides Allah, nor shall you be helped."
This is a terrifying warning—one that we must reflect on deeply. Where do we stand? Are we truly on the side of justice, or have we unknowingly inclined toward oppression?

With state of the Ummah today, which category do we fall into?
- Are we among those complicit in injustice?
- Are we among those silent in the face of oppression?
- Are we among those who rise for the truth, speak against injustice, and stand for Islam?

Ramadan Reflection Day 6- A Message to All of Mankind—Will You Answer the Call?
Thursday Mar 06, 2025
Thursday Mar 06, 2025
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was not sent for one tribe, one nation, or one time—he was sent as a messenger to all of humanity. Unlike the prophets before him who addressed their own people, he was commanded to declare:
“O mankind, I am the Messenger of Allah sent to you all.”
This was not just an invitation—it was a divine proclamation from the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
But the question remains:
Have we truly embraced the message?
Have we submitted to the One who owns all creation?
Have we followed the Prophet ﷺ as he was meant to be followed?

Taraweeh Teachings Day 6- The Mercy of Allah (swt)
Thursday Mar 06, 2025
Thursday Mar 06, 2025
Reflecting on the vast mercy of Allah(swt), we are reminded that His(swt) compassion precedes His(swt) wrath. He(swt) has written upon Himself to be merciful, and His mercy encompasses all of creation. Out of the 100 portions of mercy, only one has been placed in this world—evident in the love between a mother and child, the kindness among animals, and the bonds of humanity. The remaining 99 are reserved for the Day of Judgment.
Should we rely on anyone other than Allah, the One who provides and is not in need of provision? Should we not fear the punishment of straying from His command?

The Power of Contemplation and Supplication
The last ten verses of Surah Al-Imran are deeply profound and recommended by the Prophet ﷺ as part of our morning remembrance (adhkar). These ayat transition seamlessly from reflecting on Allah’s creation to invoking du’a and then witnessing Allah’s direct response.
“Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of the night and day, are signs for those of understanding.”
(Surah Al-Imran 3:190)
The Qur’an repeatedly calls us to reflect on the natural world, using it as evidence of Allah’s existence. When true believers engage in this reflection, their hearts naturally turn to du’a—seeking forgiveness, mercy, and salvation.
This dunya is a test—but Allah’s mercy is infinite.
May we be among those who turn to Him with sincerity and receive His ultimate reward in the Hereafter.
O Allah, accept our supplications, grant ease to the oppressed, and guide us on the straight path. Ameen!

Reflection on the 101st Anniversary of the Abolition of the Khilafah
Today is the 4th day of Ramadan, 1446 AH / March 3, 2025—a date that marks 101 years since the abolition of the Ottoman Khilafah by Mustafa Kemal in Ankara.
Last night, during Taraweeh, the Imam recited a powerful ayah from Surah Al-Imran (3:26):
“Say, O Allah, Master of the Kingdom! You give sovereignty to whom You will and take sovereignty from whom You will; You honor whom You will and humble whom You will. In Your hand is all good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.”
This ayah perfectly encapsulates the tragedy of our loss—but also our hope for the future.

Ramadan Reflection Day 2- 2025 Dr Abdul Wahid
The Power of "Hasbunallahu Wa Ni’mal Wakil"
"Those to whom people said, ‘The enemy has gathered against you, so fear them,’ but it only increased them in faith, and they said: ‘Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.’"(Surah Al-Imran 3:173)
This ayah captures a defining moment in Islamic history—after the Battle of Uhud, when the Quraysh planned another attack, hoping to crush the Muslims once and for all.
Instead of succumbing to fear, the believers' Iman increased, and their response was absolute trust in Allah:
"Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakil" (Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs).
Islam is not just about hope—it is about action driven by unwavering faith.
May we be among those who say "Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakil" with conviction and act accordingly.
O Allah, strengthen our hearts, increase us in Iman, and grant victory to the oppressed Ummah! Ameen!

Taraweeh Teachings Day 4- Understanding the Role of Men & Women in Islam
In Surah An-Nisa, Allah lays down the framework for the relationship between men and women, particularly within marriage. This surah addresses responsibilities, rights, and the divine balance that Allah has created between the two genders.
"Men are the protectors and maintainers (qawwamoon) of women, because Allah has made one excel over the other, and because they spend (to support them) from their wealth." (Surah An-Nisa 4:34)
This does not imply superiority or control, but rather a responsibility of care, provision, and protection.
This Ramadan, may we renew our commitment to following Allah’s commands in every aspect of our lives, including marriage and family life. Ameen!

Taraweeh Teachings Day 3- Holding Fast to the Rope of Allah
One of the most powerful ayat in the Quran that defines the unity of the Muslim Ummah is:
“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you—when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the brink of a pit of fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make His signs clear to you, so that you may be guided.” (Surah Aal Imran 3:103)
This verse is a reminder to all Muslims that our unity is not based on nationality, race, or ethnicity, but on our adherence to Islam and the Quran.
Let’s hold fast to the Rope of Allah, reject the divisions planted by our enemies, and revive the true spirit of Islamic brotherhood.
